Choose your psionic warrior, use the official character guides to create a striking outfit and show us you’ve got what it takes to fight the Others for a chance to become an official SCARLET NEXUS Ambassador and win an Xbox Series X, the game, and much more!
HOW?
Choose a character from the world of Scarlet Nexus, create an outfit that matches their design and post at least two photos – including a full body shot – on your public social channels (Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram), with the hashtag #SNXCosplayContest.
Your costume should be as accurate and detailed as possible, and the photos you submit need to show off your craftsmanship and commitment to the character. Creating a character’s prop will be considered a plus, but is not mandatory.
Each contest entry equals 1 person, 1 costume. No group submissions or multiple entries per person.
A panel of BANDAI NAMCO judges and professional cosplayers will select 3 finalists, and a vote will take place on the official SCARLET NEXUS social channels to choose a grand winner.
WHEN?
The contest will run from February 15th, 2021 until June 13st, 2021 included. Costumes submitted past this deadline will not be able to enter the contest.
- Judging will take place from June 14-25th, 2021.
- Online voting will take place from June 28th - July 4th, 2021.
- The Grand Winner will be announced on July 7th, 2021.

FAQ
Which character can I cosplay as?
You can create a cosplay of one of the 6 characters featured in the official cosplay guides – Yuito, Kasane, Arashi, Kyoka, Gemma and Shiden – or any other Scarlet Nexus character as long as they appear in official promotional material such as screenshots, trailers, gameplay videos and artwork.
Can I purchase a costume to participate?
Purchasing a costume is not allowed. You need to create your own outfit. You can either make it from scratch or modify clothing as long as it matches the character’s look and design.
If a part of my character’s costume isn’t visible on official assets, can it be invented?
The official cosplay guides include detailed shots of each character’s costume. However, if you chose a character that isn’t featured in the guides, you can get creative as long as it stays true to the overall design.
Do I have to create props?
If your character has a special weapon/accessory, you are not obligated to create it. However, it may be considered a plus in the evaluation of your craftsmanship.
How do I submit my costume?
Post at least two clean photos of yourself wearing the costume on your public social channels – it can be on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram – and use the official contest hashtag #SNXCosplayContest in the description to enter. You will automatically be considered a participant! You are also encouraged to post work in progress with the same hashtag, which will help the jury evaluate your craftsmanship.
How will the finalists be chosen and contacted?
A panel of BANDAI NAMCO judges and professional cosplay artists will select 3 finalists based on costume accuracy, craftsmanship, overall look and quality of the photos. These finalists will then be contacted through their social media channels, and will need to answer within 3 days to secure their spot in the Finals.
How will the Grand Winner be chosen?
After the finalists have been selected, a Community Vote will take place on the official Scarlet Nexus Twitter and Instagram channels and Bandai Namco Entertainment channel on Facebook. The cosplayer who receives the highest number of cumulated votes will be the Grand Winner.
