It's time to kick it up a notch. Now a Taekwondo master, Hwoarang has considered Jin Kazama as his rival ever since their first fight ended in a draw.
He then met Jin again in the Middle East. The black-winged figure that stood before him was the same that had beaten him in an instant in a previous encounter. With all the strength he could muster, Hwoarang succeeded in defeating the rampaging Jin. However, due to the intervention of the United Nations forces, Jin disappeared once again.
"Victory was mine, but..." he said. Hwoarang was left feeling unsatisfied with the unresolved fight with Jin. After returning home, he threw himself into stoic training in order to finish the fight – once and for all.
He quietly meditated… And finally came to the answer he was looking for: what he wanted, and what he had to do to achieve it.
