The next TEKKEN™8 fighter, Emilie De Rochefort, AKA “Lili,” was revealed on Sunday, April 23 during the TEKKEN WORLD TOUR local finals at the MIX UP 2023 in Lyon, France.
This fan-favorite heiress princess burst onto the stage chasing an adorable Siamese cat named Salt, but once she was in the ring, her focus was 100% on winning!
Lili is famous within the Tekken cast for her long-standing rivalry with Asuka Kazama as the two have been feuding since Lili originally lost the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 to Asuka. And based on this reveal trailer, it seems like their grudge is still going strong.
The announcement trailer includes a clip from their special intro, with Lili taunting Asuka by saying in French, “Did you think of an excuse for when you lose?”
An indignant Asuka replies in Japanese, “Shaddup, that’s my line!”
