Recoverable Gauge

A part of the damage taken by blocking certain heavy moves or by aerial combos remains as a recoverable gauge.

The gauge will be recovered when a player attack a hit or make it guard.

Heat System

What is “Heat” ?

  • “Period of time that is overwhelmingly beneficial to the attacker”, based on the concept of being “Aggressive”.
  • The user enters a state of enhancement and awakening for a certain period of time, and can create a starting point for tactics and offensive actions.

Heat Timer

  • Heat can be activated once per round for 10 seconds.
  • Heat timer stops while an opponent is hit or down state.

If you play well, you can keep the Heat state for a long time.

How to activate Heat state?

1. Heat Burst

  • Activating Heat while setting up a slamming attack.
  • It gives a slight advantage on hit and on guard over the opponent.

Command: R1

2. Heat Engager

  • Attack that can activate Heat if that hit an opponent.
  • After the hit, a character runs to the opponent and gains a significant advantage.

Command: Multiple moves depends on character. Refer on other reference material.

What you can do during the heat state

1. Heat Smash

  • Consume all Heat Energy to give huge damage.
  • Heat state ends when Heat Smash is used

Command: R1

2. Heat Dash

  • If activated when a Heat Engager is hit, an opponent‘s reaction changes and connecting to a combo gets possible.
  • If activated when a Heat Engager is guarded, you can get close to an opponent and make an advantageous situation.

Command: During heat state, hit or guard your opponent with the Heat Engager. And R1 as a leading input or ⇨.

3. During Heat State

  • Even if guarded, damage can be inflicted as a recoverable gauge.
  • Character personalities and characteristics are enhanced.

Controller Style

Two types of control methods

Arcade Style: Authentic Tekken traditional play style with a high degree of freedom

Special Style: The "Easy Combo" and "Assist" features of Tekken 7 have been combined and evolved.

  • Each button has a recommended move and combo for each character.
  • New controls that feel more like action games, specialized for casual play
The assigned action changes depending on the state of the character (Heat, Rage, etc.).

Doesn’t require to memorize or practice commands in advance, allowing players to easily play each character, switching between special and arcade style game play in each mode, while keeping its thrill and exciting experience
