Follow the journey of the two heroes - Jude, a medical student, and Milla, a mysterious woman who claims to be Maxwell, the lord of spirits.
The grand story unfolds in the world of “Reize Maxia”, where humans and spirits coexist.
Enjoy fast-paced battles through a strategic battle system centered on the theme of unleashing your true power by connecting with friends, and numerous ensemble dramas woven together by unique characters.
In addition to improved graphics, the remaster introduces a wide range of new functions to support the gameplay, while also bringing back the nostalgia through the DLCs* from the original game.

STORY
Jude, a medical student undergoing training at the hospital in the royal capital of Fennmont, was leading a busy yet peaceful life.
All this changed one day when an unusually large number of patients injured by failed spirit magic began arriving at the hospital. Jude’s instincts told him that something was amiss with the spirits, but he couldn’t identify it exactly.
Meanwhile, in a shrine in the mountains, Milla, the lord of spirits, who was watching over the lower world, sensed that a large number of spirits had disappeared from the area around the royal capital, Fennmont.
Judging that all spirits and humans are in danger, she headed to Fennmont to confirm her suspicion. While attempting to infiltrate the military research facility, believing it to be the cause of the spirit disappearances, she encountered a young boy.
And thus began the legend of two heroes, fighting against all odds towards one destiny!
CHARACTERS
ELIZE LUTUS
“Jude and Milla and everyone…I have to protect my friends!”
Elize is a young girl who was used as a test subject for a mana-amplifying booster. She travels everywhere with a floating, talking stuffed animal named Teepo. After being rescued by Jude's party, she ends up joining their quest.
ALVIN
“That's what it says on my business card. ‘The mercenary with a heart of gold."
A mercenary with a nonchalant air, Alvin rescues Milla and Jude from law enforcement in hopes of a payday. But his shady behavior suggests that he's using his glib and easygoing manner to conceal some dark secrets.
JUDE MATHIS
“It's not a matter of if you can or can't. It's a matter of whether you do or don't”
Jude is a medical student attending Fennmont's Talim Medical School. Serious and sincere, he inspires trust in those around him. His desire to help others leads to his joining Milla's quest, but it's his attraction to her pure nature that leads him to fight for her.
MILLA MAXWELL
“I can't give up. My mission won't let me. I must keep moving forward.”
As the Lord of Spirits, Milla Maxwell commands the Great Spirits of earth, water, fire, and wind. She sees protecting mankind and spirits alike as her mission, and will do whatever is necessary to achieve it.
LEIA ROLAND
“Now it's my turn to help Jude out.”
Leia was a childhood friend of Jude and has long held feelings for him. Wishing to support him, she insists on joining the party. She's relentless in the pursuit of her goals, but her rashness often leads her to make foolish mistakes.
ROWEN J. ILBERT
“I would like to be there to walk with them in the future”
Rowen formerly served as a Rashugal military strategist, where his unflappable temperament and exceptional leadership earned him the nickname, "The Conductor." He asks to join Milla's party in order to stop the reckless actions of his former friend, Nachtigal.
BATTLE
Enjoy a fast-paced, flashy combat system through the DR-LMBS (Double Raid Linear Motion Battle System), centered on “Link Mode” in which two characters combine their strengths to obliterate their foes.
The mechanism is governed by 3 major features :
- The AC and TP system
In battle, you can deal damage to your opponents by consuming two types of resources.
AC – Assault Counter and TP – Technical Points.
Link Mode :
Fight in pairs with your allies in “Link Mode”. Depending on the party member that you link with, you can activate unique support abilities and gain various special effects.
Link Artes :
Transcend your abilities with Link Artes. While in Linked Mode, synchronize with your ally to combine your strengths and unleash a wave of destruction upon your enemies, after filling a certain amount of the gauge.
- Growth System
A growth system called “Lilium Orbs” can be used to awaken the potential of the characters. By consuming GP (Growth Points) obtained as you level up, you can unlock point (nodes) within the Lilium Orbs to acquire new skills and techniques.
QoL UPGRADES
The Grade Shop :
The grade shop is available from the start of the game, offering you upgrades to enjoy the game the way you like, right from the start. Toggle your purchases on and off in the “Grade Shop Settings” at any time.
Destination Icon :
The destinations in the main story are indicated by a “★” icon, along with its distance from the character. This can be switched on or off in the configuration menu.
Enemy Encounter Toggle :
You can toggle the “Encounter Setting” to OFF to avoid battle with an enemy even if you come into contact with one in the field or the dungeon.
