Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, the latest Action RPG in the infamous Sword Art Online saga, has finally revealed the content of the first DLC in its Season Pass – Explorer of the Illusory Mists.
With three DLCs announced as part of this Season Pass, namely Explorer of Illusory Mists, Tuner of Causality and The One Who Resists God as well as three bonus costumes, Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization promises a legion of new content, available on May 16, 2017.
A myriad of original elements are headed your way, including new special missions such as the Heroine Quest – allowing you to add Asuna, Lisbeth, Silica and Premiere as the central character of the first chapter –, the opportunity to unlock new legendary weapons with the Enigma Order, the possibility of customizing your character's appearance, and even an exclusive new level – Vulcanus Citadel – with its very own monsters and all-new Boss! Ready your weapons for the challenges this chapter will bring:
Kirito and his loyal companions discover a new stage within Aincrad: a stiflingly desolate land, scorched and blistered by lava. Upon entering this new stage, Premiere is overwhelmed by sudden headaches. Kirito and his friends find themselves face-to-face with the strange creatures that somehow thrive in this hellish environment. But a mysterious character appears before them, dressed in dark hooded robes, face obscured by a mask. Could this be a friend, or a foe?
For those who aren't quite there yet, help is at hand to assist you with the DLC!
With the purchase of this DLC, beginners are offered two Help boosts, so they can enjoy the DLC even if they haven't finished the game:
Reinforce Playable Characters: Players who have only just started the game and have purchased the DLC can choose to reinforce their character. By accepting this offer, their character will leap to Level 80, their Weapon Skills will jump to 350, their Skill Points will be increased accordingly, and they will receive standard armor. Players can also choose to decline this offer.
Unlock the Main Game and Access to Warriors of the Sky: Players having purchased the DLC will find themselves able to skip straight to Shrine Maiden, even if they have not completed the game. They will also have access to Warriors of the Sky. This automatically unlocks the Enigma Order, a tree that allows players to acquire new, highly powerful weapons, as well as new skills.
The first all-new Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization DLC – Explorer of the Illusory Mists – will be available for purchase on May 16, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
