The Nightmare is First Person – Little Nightmares: Altered Echoes brings the Nowhere to VR

Ah, it’s so charming to play a Little Nightmares game, isn’t it? 
You guide your little Visitor through a horrifying dollhouse, but ultimately, you get to stay safe and removed, right? 
Held at arm’s length, so even if it’s scary, it’s not TOO scary.

All of that is about to change, children.

Little Nightmares: Altered Echoes is the first ever first-person Virtual Reality Little Nightmares experience. 

In this game, you’ll finally feel what it’s like to be trapped in the Nowhere, sneaking through enormous and mysterious places not meant for you, running from Residents, and solving puzzles with your own hands. 

You play as Dark Six, a fragmented being that believes herself to be a piece of Six’s personality left behind after she was abducted by the Thin Man. 

As you search for Six within the Transmission, you’ll have to make your way through environments that are both familiar and bizarre. 

You’ll also face Residents old and new, dodging the grasping hands of the Thin Man, skipping the Teacher’s classes, fare jumping to avoid the Conductor and more.

Even the gentle delight of sending toys tumbling through the air is fleeting when you have to live through the terror of climbing as fast as you can to escape a greedy grasp or running for a hidey hole that’s just a little too far away. 

You’ll have a new appreciation for what those little Visitors go through once you run a mile in their shoes.

And through it all, a melody keeps calling. The Music Box is both your journey and destination, guiding you through the darkness.

The echoes will ring out on PlayStation VR 2, Meta Quest and Steam on April 24th, 2026.
