1. When is Once Upon A KATAMARI releasing?
Once Upon A KATAMARI releases on 24 October 2025 on Playstation 5, XBOX Series X, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
2. Can I play with friends in Once Upon A KATAMARI?
Yes, players can battle with friends in KatamariBall. Players will be able to create private rooms and invite friends to play. Up to 4 players can play in each room.
If there are less than 4 players, do not worry because CPUs will be automatically added to fill in the remaining spots in each room.
Local play is not available.
3. What do I play in KatamariBall?
In KatamariBall, players challenge one another in a rolling battle. Roll, roll, roooll to obtain the highest score to win the KatamariBall!
4. What is there in the DLC1 and DLC 2 that is in the King of All Sounds edition (a.k.a. Deluxe edition)?
In the King of All Sounds (Deluxe) edition, there are two DLCs, both available now!
- Katamari Damacy Series Songs: Side A (DLC 1): 26 BGMs and up to 18 accessories
- Katamari Damacy Series Songs: Side B (DLC 2): 34 BGMs and 8 accessories.
5. How do I unlock the REROLL BONUS of the Young King cousin character?
Players can unlock the Young King cousin character if they have saved data from Katamari Damacy REROLL (KDR) or We Love Katamari REROLL+Royal Reverie (WLKR).
1. Install and complete tutorials, KDR or WLKR.
2. Install Once Upon A KATAMARI and progress in the game until you complete the first chapter. Players must use the same profile on which the saves of KDR and WLKR are present.
3. A notice message will appear to inform the player that the REROLL BONUS is unlocked.
4. Proceed to the character customization screen.
5. Enter the name and select the body of the Young King character.
6. Save the customized character.
7. Players can also be checked under MENU > Prince and Cousins.
6. How do I unlock all 68 cousins in the game?
Players will be able to unlock, play as and customize up to 68 quirky cousins through normal progression in the game. Challenge yourself and see if you can collect them all!
7. How do I use the power items in the game?
Magnet, timer, rocket...are some of the items you can use to achieve a stage’s objective! Just press the following buttons to activate:
· R2 (Playstation 5)
· ZR (Nintendo Switch)
· RT (XBOX Series X/S)
· O button (PC)
