The first skirmish against the Nightlord took place recently as Nightfarers from around the globe participated in the ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN Network Test.
Learn how they fared against the dangers of Limveld and the inexorable erosion of the Night’s Tide.
Thousands of players faced hordes of enemies, tried dozens of weapons, and searched relentlessly for the lair of their first Nightlord during the Network Test. Whether or not you were among those chosen few, you can join the hunt on May 30, 2025.

For you and your team to survive to the third night, you’ll have to work together as you hunt the Nightlord.
During the Network Test, Nightfarers defeated the Nightlord Gladius, Beast of Night 58,615 times.
If you fall during battle, your companions can revive you with their attacks.
A total of 23,627,489 attacks were used to save downed Nightfarers.
During the day you’ll encounter formidable enemies that will drop rare items and a large bounty of runes if defeated. Here’s how many were slaughtered during the Network Test.
Golden Hippopotamus: 194,996
Flame Chariots: 164,974
Fire Monk: 150,128
Flying Dragon of the Hills: 147,202
Royal Army Knights: 98,738
Defeating enemies will earn you runes, which you will use to level up your character.
If you meet your demise on the battleground, you will lose your runes if they are not retrieved before your next death.
A total of 37,957,453,867 runes were lost during the Network Test.
In various locations in Limveld, you can summon Spectral Hawks for faster map traversal.
Spectral Hawks were summoned 427,533 times.
