Hello everyone, I'm Jun Furutani, the producer of DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero.

We’re excited to share the latest updates on this title with you today.

Content Explanation

We are currently working on a new DLC for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero.

Today, we’ve reached the stage where we can reveal part of its content, so we’re releasing a new trailer.
 

Until now, our DLCs have mainly focused on adding playable characters. However, we wanted to deliver content that offers a deeper “Dragon Ball” experience, so we decided to develop a new DLC that includes various elements beyond just characters.

This upcoming DLC will not only include new playable characters but also costumes and stages that many of you have requested, as well as a new single-player mode for you to enjoy.

We’ll be sharing more details gradually, so please stay tuned for future updates.

Roadmap

Next, we’ll introduce the roadmap.

First, please take a look at the roadmap for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and STEAM versions, which released ahead of other platforms.
For these platforms, new DLC we introduced earlier is scheduled for release in summer 2026.

Additionally, we are planning updates that will allow you to continue enjoying the game well into the future.
we will release a free update adding a mode called "Mission 100."

This is a simple solo mode featuring 100 battles with specific conditions for both opponents and your team—similar to what was included in the previous title, DRAGON BALL Z Sparking! METEOR (Budokai Tenkaichi 3).

Players who have experienced the previous title will recognize many familiar missions, so we hope you enjoy them.
Furthermore, we’re planning to add a “Survival Mode” in another free update by spring, so please look forward to that as well.

Next is roadmap for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions, DLC included in the Season Pass will begin rolling out this winter. 
The release schedule for the new DLC and other free updates will differ from other platforms, so we appreciate your patience.
