DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO Brings New Fighters and a Fresh Solo Experience

Following its earlier DLC announcement, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO returned at Battle Hour 2026 with new details and plenty of fan‑favorite moments.
 

The latest trailer revealed Vegeta (GT) and Trunks (GT) as playable characters, marking their first-ever appearance in the Sparking (Budokai Tenkaichi) series. 

Fans were also treated to a new costume and Super Attack for Goku (Z – End), directly referencing one of the most iconic moments in Dragon Ball history.

Beyond new fighters, the DLC introduces a brand-new solo mode, called Limit Breaker Journey

Players can select unlocked characters, jump into battles and events, earn EXP, and use it to power up their favorite warriors. Revealed alongside full gameplay footage, this new DLC fighter brings an aggressive, momentum‑driven playstyle built around Wild Dash, a versatile move that branches into four distinct techniques:

  • Double Combination – A pressure-heavy strike that’s difficult to counter even on block
  • Raging Strike – Launches opponents upward and enables Super Dash follow‑ups
  • Power Swing – A command throw that breaks guards (but won’t hit crouching foes)
  • Quick Move – A fast advance with invincibility frames, ideal for shutting down counters

Goku (SS4, DAIMA) joins DRAGON BALL FighterZ on April 22, adding a new layer of offensive depth for competitive and casual players alike.
