CODE VEIN II - Free Update 2.0 Available Now

The world of CODE VEIN II continues to expand with the arrival of Free Update 2.0, a major content update filled with new adventures, gameplay features, and customization options for all players.

Whether you're returning after completing the main story or looking for new challenges to conquer, update 2.0 offers plenty of reasons to jump back into the game for free! 

One of the highlights of this update is The Age of Harmony, a brand-new epilogue that takes place after the Miraculous Bonds ending.

Players can experience additional character-focused episodes, learn more about their favorite companions, and unlock new Blood Codes along the way. This new chapter also lets players choose their preferred partner while exploring the world, creating even more opportunities to strengthen bonds and enjoy life in this new era.

For those seeking intense battles, Trials of Remembrance introduces a series of combat challenges featuring bosses and enemies encountered throughout the main adventure. Fight through specially designed stages, earn rewards, and unlock over 90 new customization parts inspired by some of the game's most memorable foes.

It's the perfect chance to test your skills and further personalize your character.

Update 2.0 also expands Jadwiga's role by allowing players to enter a Summoning Pact with her.

Previously only available through Assimilation, Jadwiga can now join players as a partner character after completing her episode in The Age of Harmony, bringing her unique and aggressive combat style to the battlefield.

Players who prefer to focus on the story can take advantage of the new Story-Focused Mode.

This optional setting strengthens the player character, making exploration and boss battles more accessible while preserving the narrative experience. This new mode can be enabled or disabled at any time from the options menu, giving players complete control over how they experience the game.

Several quality-of-life and customization enhancements have also been added.

The new Legacy Shader lets players switch to a visual style inspired by the original CODE VEIN, while the expanded Photo Mode includes more than 30 new poses, over 20 new frames, and enables greater freedom when positioning characters for screenshots.

Meanwhile, the beloved Jukebox returns, allowing players to listen to selected tracks from CODE VEIN, CODE VEIN II, and the GOD EATER series.
