2020 has had a rough start for many people around the world. The global unrest has reached all of our hearts. I pray this message finds you in good health.
Tracing its roots back to the "Air Combat" arcade game, the Ace Combat series has now seen a quarter of a century pass since its first release in 1995.
For a series so beloved by its fans, I see these past 25 years as more than just time.
More than half of my own life will have been spent together with Ace Combat. Some of our team members are younger than the earliest releases, while yet others have joined us as long-time fans of the series themselves.
I am sure there are also many of you for whom an Ace Combat game was the first game you played, or one that you played with a family member, or perhaps a game that you look upon fondly as a childhood memory. Some of you may have even taken different paths in your lives after encountering Ace Combat.
Over time, the games we've made have become more than just "things"—they've become experiences and emotions inextricably connected to people's lives.
Life itself can be compared to a game; despite the successes and failures, the ups and downs, we always tirelessly push forward toward the future.
Using our momentous 25th anniversary as a springboard, we hope to help Ace Combat soar to even greater heights and make you proud to be fans of this long-standing series.
We want to create more incredible experiences for you to enjoy and help you create new memories to look back upon.
