FAQ for Premium Ace Pass
ACE COMBAT 8 has three ACE PASS types. The ACE PASS is a free seasonal progression track available to all players. Rewards are earned as players level up, including cosmetic items and aircraft upgrades.
There is also the PREMIUM ACE PASS, which includes additional rewards at each level as well as premium seasonal content such as aircraft ADFX-02 Morgan–PIXY, which is a Season 1 exclusive.
There is an additional tier, called the PREMIUM ACE PASS PLUS, that includes the PREMIUM ACE PASS rewards as well as a 30-level skip, where players can instantly unlock 30 levels of seasonal progress and rewards.
Specific details regarding seasonal rewards and upcoming content available with ACE PASS tiers will be announced at a later date.
The PREMIUM ACE PASS PLUS can be unlocked via a voucher included in the ACE COMBAT 8 Deluxe Edition. Both PREMIUM ACE PASS tiers are also available for purchase separately.
The Deluxe Edition includes a voucher that players can use to redeem one-season of PREMIUM ACE PASS PLUS content and rewards. The voucher is not tied to a specific season, meaning players can save it and use it to redeem a future PREMIUM ACE PASS PLUS season of content if they wish.
We are offering a special reward celebrating the launch of ACE COMBAT 8 and the Season 1 PREMIUM ACE PASS. Players who order the Deluxe Edition and use their voucher to redeem the PREMIUM ACE PASS will instantly unlock the ADFX-02 Morgan–PIXY, which is also playable in Online Mode. Players need to complete the game’s Campaign Mode if they want to use this aircraft on the Campaign Mode.
Additionally, the pass grants access to a variety of exciting cosmetic items including aircraft skins and in-game avatar costumes.
The ACE COMBAT series has a long history of supporting players with additional post-launch content. While we are not ready to share details about future content plans at this time, we look forward to sharing more information in the future.
There are currently no plans to include consumables in the game, either for purchase or as part of ACE PASS rewards. The rewards and content that will be available offer players ways to purchase or unlock playable aircraft, items to upgrade aircraft, and cosmetic items.
ACE COMBAT 8 does not include paid loot box mechanics, or other randomized paid rewards. Players can view all available content and rewards before making a purchase.
The ACE COMBAT 7 Season Pass offers playable aircraft and additional special missions.
The ACE COMBAT 8 PREMIUM ACE PASS provides a larger variety of content including playable aircraft, cosmetic items, and items used to upgrade aircraft as rewards for progressing through the pass.
The Deluxe Edition will still be available for purchase after ACE COMBAT 8 launches.
Please note, however, that it does not include the early access bonus available with digital pre-orders of the Deluxe Edition.
